The Beverly Arts Center seeks creative young people that will add a fresh splash of motivated thinking to our dynamic team. These future leaders will support the BAC in its current efforts while enriching the start of their professional careers and setting a personal path to success. In addition to working directly with artistic professionals in an arts and business environment, the program will include a guest speaker series and the opportunity to connect with other leaders in the fields of non-profit management, the creative arts and executive leadership.

Interns may apply to work in one or more of the following areas:
SOCIAL AND TECHNICAL MEDIA
Increase and develop the BACís social media presence, creation of BAC-TV on You Tube, film, new media, lobby media

GRAPHIC DESIGN
Print and digital design including posters, brochures, postcards, web banners and email templates

MARKETING AND COMMUNICATION
Media alert and copy writing, media relations, customer and community relations, list building and scrubbing, street team PR, internal communications, (letters and intra-departmental communications), event and archival photography

EVENTS
Reception and greeting, set-up and breakdown, assist with event logistics, customer and guest relations, input on event materials, assist with contacting, research event possibilities, act as a liaison with renters

DEVELOPMENT
Grant writing, donor relations and communication, annual appeal, programming and event planning

EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATION
Correspondence and communication, filing and organizing, scheduling, meeting attendance, agenda development

OUTREACH
Distribute programming information to potential school partners, manage records and files, and assist with contracting processes

GALLERY
Preparatory work, installing, curating, artist relations and communication, file and records management

PRODUCTION / TECH SUPPORT
Stage management, technical theatre design and operation, load-in

Qualifications
College students (undergraduate, graduate, post) Related coursework, significant experience, proven track record in the selected area and/or the field of non-profits and the arts.
